About Scott

Florin Legal, P.A. was founded in 2011 by Attorney Scott C. Florin. After starting his legal career in Ohio and practicing for several years across bankruptcy, general civil litigation, and criminal law, Scott has since devoted his practice almost exclusively to consumer law and the protection of consumers' rights.

Since moving to Florida and founding the firm, the majority of Scott's practice has revolved around the defense of credit card debt collection lawsuits, litigation of debt collection violations, credit reporting violations, and protecting consumers from unfair and deceptive acts and practices.

"Consumers are often blindsided by a credit card lawsuit. We take the time to explain the process, the real risks, and build the defense around each client's individual circumstances."

Scott takes pride in maintaining a personal attorney-client relationship throughout the entire litigation process — he personally interviews every client and tailors the defense based on the individual circumstances of each case. Florin Legal, P.A. handles consumer cases throughout the State of Florida.
